1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to capital investment; appropriating money for classroom and lab space
1.3for the dental assisting program at South Central College; authorizing the sale and
1.4issuance of state bonds.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6Section 1. SOUTH CENTRAL COLLEGE.
1.7Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $2,235,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund
1.8to the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities to design, renovate,
1.9and equip classroom and lab spaces for the dental assisting program at the North Mankato
1.10campus of South Central College.
1.11Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond
1.12proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue bonds of
1.13the state in an amount up to $2,235,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect
1.14prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota
1.15Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.16EFFECTIVE DATE. This section is effective the day following final enactment.
