1AN ACT
2 To designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 1090 in Slidell, Louisiana, as the "Louis 'Pat'
3Miramon Memorial Highway"; to provide for implementation; and to provide for
4related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 1090 from its intersection with United
7 States Highway 190 to its intersection with Interstate 10 in Slidell, Louisiana, shall be known
8 and is hereby designated as the "Louis 'Pat' Miramon Memorial Highway".
9Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development or its contractors are
10 hereby directed to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting these designations
11 provided local or private monies are received by the department equal to the department's
12 actual cost for material, fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of the signage, not to
13 exceed the sum of seven hundred fifty dollars per sign.
