1AN ACT
2 To amend and reenact R.S. 15:827.3(A)(2)(d) and 951(C), relative to the Back on Track
3Youth Pilot Program; to provide relative to allocation of certain monies; to provide
4for administration of the program; to provide relative to the intermediary of the
5program; and to provide for related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7Section 1. R.S. 15:827.3(A)(2)(d) and 951(C) are hereby amended and reenacted to
8 read as follows:
9§827.3.        Savings attributable to criminal justice reforms; data collection and
10reporting requirements to the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget

13(2) Each fiscal year, the annual savings shall be allocated as follows:

15(d) Fifteen percent shall be allocated to the Louisiana Children's Trust Fund
16Board Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of juvenile justice, to
17administer and operate the Back on Track Youth Pilot Program as provided in R.S.
1815:951.

22C.(1) This program shall be administered by selected nonprofit groups as
23well as the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of juvenile justice,
24the Department of Children and Family Services, the Department of Education, and
25Louisiana Works, and the Louisiana Children's Trust Fund Board.

1(2) The Louisiana Children's Trust Fund Board Department of Public Safety
2and Corrections, office of juvenile justice, is hereby named as the intermediary of the
3program with the authority to manage or administer funds and address any changes
4in program funding as needed.
