1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to arts and culture; appropriating money for St. Paul Art Collective.
1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.4Section 1. APPROPRIATION; ST. PAUL ART COLLECTIVE.
1.5$250,000 in fiscal year 2027 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund to
1.6the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Humanities Center for a grant to the St. Paul Art
1.7Collective to sustain and expand community arts infrastructure in the Twin Cities, including
1.8the St. Paul Art Crawl and associated cultural programming. The grant is to support staffing,
1.9artist fees, venue development, outreach, and marketing that expand public access to the
1.10arts, create economic opportunity for working artists, and strengthen neighborhood identity
1.11and civic life across St. Paul and the greater metropolitan region.
