1A RESOLUTION honoring the service of Thomas Kurtz during the 2026 Regular
2 Session of the General Assembly.
3WHEREAS, Thomas Kurtz is a gifted scholar at the University of Louisville, where
4 he is a member of the McConnell Scholars Program and Beta Theta Pi; and
5WHEREAS, Thomas Kurtz has served as a legislative intern to Kentucky State
6 Senator Max Wise during the 2026 Regular Session of the Kentucky General Assembly;
7 and
8WHEREAS, Thomas Kurtz has used his substantial intellect and curiosity to
9 provide valuable contributions to the complex yet worthwhile legislative process; and
10WHEREAS, Thomas Kurtz has demonstrated remarkable skill, knowledge, and
11 dedication to strengthening Kentucky's legislature; and
12WHEREAS, the service and contributions of Thomas Kurtz are indeed worthy of
13 public recognition;
14NOW, THEREFORE,
15 Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of
16 Kentucky:
17Section 1.        The members of the Senate join Senator Max Wise in recognizing
18 and honoring Thomas Kurtz for his impressive contributions and exemplary performance
19 while serving as a legislative intern during the 2026 Regular Session of the General
20 Assembly, and wishing him good fortune in all future endeavors.
21Section 2. The Clerk of the Senate shall Transmit a copy of this Resolution to
22 Senator Max Wise for presentation to Thomas Kurtz.
