 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
     Section 1. That section 4516.14 of the Revised Code be  5
enacted to read as follows:  6
     Sec. 4516.14. The regulation of peer-to-peer car sharing  7
programs, shared vehicle owners, shared vehicle drivers, and  8
peer-to-peer car sharing is a matter of general statewide  9
interest that requires statewide regulation. Accordingly, except       10
as authorized in section 4516.07 of the Revised Code, it is the        11
intent of the general assembly to create uniform laws applicable       12
throughout the state related to the licensing, registration,  13
taxation, and general requirements and expectations for peer-to-       14
peer car sharing programs, shared vehicle owners, shared vehicle       15
drivers, and peer-to-peer car sharing through Chapter 4516. of  16
the Revised Code.  17

To enact section 4516.14 of the Revised Code to make a general statement about the General Assembly's intent for peer-to-peer car sharing programs.
