No. 4272025-2026Senator ReynoldsTo enact section 4516.14 of the Revised Code to 1make a general statement about the General 2Assembly's intent for peer-to-peer car sharing 3programs. 4BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:Section 1. That section 4516.14 of the Revised Code be 5enacted to read as follows: 6Sec. 4516.14. The regulation of peer-to-peer car sharing 7programs, shared vehicle owners, shared vehicle drivers, and 8peer-to-peer car sharing is a matter of general statewide 9interest that requires statewide regulation. Accordingly, except 10as authorized in section 4516.07 of the Revised Code, it is the 11intent of the general assembly to create uniform laws applicable 12throughout the state related to the licensing, registration, 13taxation, and general requirements and expectations for peer-to- 14peer car sharing programs, shared vehicle owners, shared vehicle 15drivers, and peer-to-peer car sharing through Chapter 4516. of 16the Revised Code. 17
To enact section 4516.14 of the Revised Code to make a general statement about the General Assembly's intent for peer-to-peer car sharing programs.
