21WHEREAS, the Central Arkansas Christian High School Choir achieved Best
22 in Class 3A Medium Mixed Chorus and Best in Class 3A Overall Medium Chorus at
23 the State Choral Festival held at the University of Central Arkansas in
24 Conway on April 13, 2026; and
25
26WHEREAS, this is the first time that the Mustang Choir has won Best in
27 Class at the State Choral Festival; and
28
29WHEREAS, the Mustang Choir members are Callie Ashberry, Elizabeth
30 Black, Hannah Doyle, Cooper Gates, Karsen Henson, Joseph Price, Caroline
31 Schimmel, Miranda Semanek, Miracle Sullivan, Piper Zakrzewski, Jarett Baker,
32 Avery Beauchamp, Ainsley Brown, Sterling Chunn, Carson Collier, Kaycee
33 Collins, Brady Grice, Keegan Harris, Luke Irwin, Connor Mann, Addison
34 Millard, Elijah Poe, Elizabeth Prestridge, Adelaide Pritchett, Wyatt Smith,
35 and John Via; and

1WHEREAS, the Mustang Choir is led by Choir Director Dr. Tamara Harper;
2 and

4WHEREAS, also integral to the Mustang Choir's success was the support
5 of the faculty and staff of Central Arkansas Christian Schools, including
6 Principal Julie Parker, Assistant Principals Matt Hall and Janice Northen,
7 and President Dr. Andy Stewart,

9 NOW THEREFORE,
10 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL
11 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ARKANSAS:

13THAT the House of Representatives congratulate and commend the Central
14 Arkansas Christian High School Choir for being awarded 2026 Best in Class 3A
15 and for the high standards and caliber of performance of its students and
16 director.

18 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT upon adoption, a copy of this resolution be
19 presented to Choir Director Dr. Tamara Harper by the Chief Clerk of the House
20 of Representatives.
