 RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING SENATOR MARTIN M. LOONEY
 ON HIS DISTINGUISHED LEGISLATIVE CAREER.
 Resolved by this House:
1WHEREAS, Martin M. Looney has devoted decades of exemplary
2     public service with integrity, diligence and unwavering commitment,
3     not only to the constituents he represented in the Connecticut General
4     Assembly but to all people of the State of Connecticut; and
5WHEREAS, Martin M. Looney has served with distinction as a
6     member of both the House of Representatives and the Senate, including
7     in his role as President Pro Tempore of the Senate where he has
8     provided thoughtful leadership and guidance; and
9WHEREAS, Martin M. Looney's dedication to public service reflects
10    the highest ideals of civic responsibility and has earned him the respect
11    and admiration of colleagues, constituents and community leaders
12    alike.

13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the House of
14    Representatives hereby congratulates Senator Martin M. Looney on his
15    distinguished legislative career and extends its deepest appreciation for
16    his many years of service to the State of Connecticut; and
17BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the House of Representatives
18    wishes Senator Martin M. Looney continued success, good health and
19    fulfillment in all future endeavors; and
20      BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the clerk of the House of
21    Representatives cause a copy of this resolution to be sent to Senator
22    Martin M. Looney as an expression of honor and gratitude.
