RESOLUTION CONGRATULATING SENATOR MARTIN M. LOONEY
ON HIS DISTINGUISHED LEGISLATIVE CAREER.
Resolved by this House:
WHEREAS, Martin M. Looney has devoted decades of exemplary
public service with integrity, diligence and unwavering commitment,
not only to the constituents he represented in the Connecticut General
Assembly but to all people of the State of Connecticut; and
WHEREAS, Martin M. Looney has served with distinction as a
member of both the House of Representatives and the Senate, including
in his role as President Pro Tempore of the Senate where he has
provided thoughtful leadership and guidance; and
WHEREAS, Martin M. Looney's dedication to public service reflects
the highest ideals of civic responsibility and has earned him the respect
and admiration of colleagues, constituents and community leaders
alike.

House Resolution No.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the House of
Representatives hereby congratulates Senator Martin M. Looney on his
distinguished legislative career and extends its deepest appreciation for
his many years of service to the State of Connecticut; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the House of Representatives
wishes Senator Martin M. Looney continued success, good health and
fulfillment in all future endeavors; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the clerk of the House of
Representatives cause a copy of this resolution to be sent to Senator
Martin M. Looney as an expression of honor and gratitude.
