NO.193THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE, 2026STATE OF HAWAIISENATE RESOLUTIONREGARDING COMPLETION OF THE WORK OF THE THIRTY-THIRD LEGISLATURE,REGULAR SESSION OF 2026, SUBSEQUENT TO ADJOURNMENT THEREOF.���� BE ITRESOLVED by the Senate of the Thirty-Third Legislature of the State of Hawaii,Regular Session of 2026, that the President is hereby authorized and empoweredas the President deems necessary to:���� (1)� Expend such sum or sums appropriated to theThirty‑Third Legislature, Regular Session of 2026, forlegislative-related expenses or other expenses;���� (2)� Contract, hire, or employ such personnel,assistance, and services, to meet the work of the Senate prior to the nextRegular Session and to determine the period of employment for each;���� (3)� Approve the Journal of the Senate of anylegislative day being compiled as of the 60th legislative day;���� (4)� Convene any committee authorized by law, orthe Rules of the Senate for the Thirty-Third Legislature, and carry out anyduties or business related to the convening of any authorized committee;���� (5)� Take such actions as deemed to be reasonableand necessary for the efficient operation of the Senate; and���� (6)� Perform any other duties, all for the purposesof completing the work of the Thirty-Third Legislature, Regular Session of 2026,subsequent to the adjournment thereof, including the carrying out of anyofficial legislative business in the interim between the 2026 and 2027 RegularSessions, up to and including January 20, 2027; and���� BE IT FURTHERRESOLVED that the Vice President is hereby authorized and empowered to carryout the responsibilities enumerated under Rule 4 of the Rules of the Senate forthe Thirty-Third Legislature.OFFERED BY:_____________________________Report Title:�Completionof Work of the Thirty-Third Legislature
