  A RESOLUTION
  Honoring Kaliah Ludlow as a 2026 USA Gymnastics Level  1
  5 Ohio Champion.  2
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly    3
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Kaliah Ludlow on    4
winning the beam event at the 2026 USA Gymnastics Level 5 Ohio  5
Championships; and  6
     WHEREAS, A member of Kids World Gymnastics, Kaliah Ludlow has       7
combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good   8
sportsmanship to establish herself as a truly exceptional young  9
athlete. With admirable dedication, she has worked diligently to  10
attain ultimate proficiency in gymnastics, and as a result, she won      11
the beam event with a score of 9.45 and placed second in the floor and   12
all-around events at this year's USA Gymnastics Level 5 Ohio  13
Championships; and  14
     WHEREAS, Kaliah Ludlow's accomplishments and leadership, both in    15
and out of athletic competition, are a justifiable source of pride and   16
an excellent reflection not only on her but also on her family, her      17
teammates, her coaches, and her community. Her unwavering commitment     18
to excellence has earned her the respect and esteem of many, and she     19
is certainly worthy of high praise; and  20
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role   21
in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased     22
to pay tribute to Kaliah Ludlow on an exemplary performance. Indeed,     23
the same maturity and experience she has gained through her  24
participation in sports will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges   25
of the future; therefore be it  26
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General    27
S. R. No. 355  Page 2
As Adopted by the Senate
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Kaliah  28
Ludlow on her achievement and offer best wishes for ongoing success;       29
and be it further  30
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly  31
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Kaliah Ludlow.  32
