1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Bentley
4 Kahne Wolfe, who passed away on March 6, 2026; and
5 WHEREAS, Bentley Wolfe was born in Terre Haute, Indiana to
6 Jacob and Samantha (Fletcher) Wolfe on April 3, 2010; he
7 attended Chrisman High School, where he played basketball for
8 the Cardinals and baseball for the Georgetown-Ridge Farm High
9 School Buffaloes; and
10 WHEREAS, Bentley Wolfe was a member of the Chrisman High
11 School chapter of the Future Farmers of America and enjoyed
12 farming and tractors, trucks, guns, four-wheelers, and being
13 with his friends and girlfriend; and
14 WHEREAS, Bentley Wolfe was known for his positive and
15 loving demeanor; and
16 WHEREAS, Bentley Wolfe's friends started #LLBW (Love Like
17 Bentley Wolfe), and a vigil was held at Chrisman High School on
18 March 6, 2026, where hundreds of members of the community wore
19 green to honor and remember him; and
20 WHEREAS, Bentley Wolfe was preceded in death by his

1 grandfather, Charles Wolfe, and his great-grandparents, John
2 and Shirley Fletcher; and
3 WHEREAS, Bentley Wolfe is survived by his parents; his
4 sisters, Morgan Simpson, Lucy Wolfe, Hadley Wolfe, Madalynn
5 Wolfe, and Londyn Krabel; his brothers, Ely Wolfe and Ty
6 Krabel; his grandparents, Mike and Laura Fletcher and Harry
7 and Carissa Wiseman; his great-grandparents, Chuck and Kay
8 Wolfe; his great-grandmother, Shirley Harvey; his girlfriend,
9 Randi Rollings; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins,
10 teammates, and friends; therefore, be it
11 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE
12 HUNDRED FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
13 we mourn the passing of Bentley Kahne Wolfe and extend our
14 sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew
15 and loved him; and be it further
16 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
17 presented to the family of Bentley Wolfe as an expression of
18 our deepest sympathy.
