To enact section 5.2544 of the Revised Code to 1
designate the second week of May as "Maternal 2
and Neonatal Sepsis Awareness Week." 3
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 5.2544 of the Revised Code be 4
enacted to read as follows: 5
Sec. 5.2544. The week beginning on the second Sunday in 6
May is designated as "Maternal and Neonatal Sepsis Awareness 7
Week" to increase awareness of the signs and symptoms of these 8
life-threatening conditions, to share survivors' personal 9
experiences, and to remember the lives lost to maternal and 10
neonatal sepsis. 11

To enact section 5.2544 of the Revised Code to designate the second week of May as "Maternal and Neonatal Sepsis Awareness Week."
