Suspending Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature,
concerning Senate Bill No. 24, relating to tobacco, tobacco products, electronic smoking
products, nicotine, and products containing nicotine; raising the minimum age to purchase,
exchange, or possess tobacco, a product containing nicotine, or an electronic smoking product;
relating to the tobacco use education and cessation fund; and relating to the taxation of
electronic smoking products and vapor products.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF ALASKA:
       That under Rule 54, Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, the provisions of
Rules 24(c), 35, 41(b), and 42(e), Uniform Rules of the Alaska State Legislature, regarding
changes to the title of a bill, are suspended in consideration of Senate Bill No. 24, relating to
tobacco, tobacco products, electronic smoking products, nicotine, and products containing
nicotine; raising the minimum age to purchase, exchange, or possess tobacco, a product
containing nicotine, or an electronic smoking product; relating to the tobacco use education and
cessation fund; and relating to the taxation of electronic smoking products and vapor products.
