SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 153

  A RESOLUTION
To commend Madison Elizabeth Hogan on being crowned the 100th Miss St. Tammany
       Parish Fair Queen.
       WHEREAS, Madison Hogan is the reigning 2025-2026 St. Tammany Parish Fair
Queen; and
       WHEREAS, Madison, the 2025-2026 Fair Queen, is a resident of Mandeville,
Louisiana, and a proud graduate of Mandeville High School; and
       WHEREAS, at only 22 years old, Madison holds a Bachelor of Science degree in
Finance with a minor in economics from Southeastern Louisiana University; and
       WHEREAS, she is a Southeastern Louisiana University Double Legacy Scholar and
an alumni of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority and the Gamma Beta Phi Society; and
       WHEREAS, Madison competed on the Southeastern Louisiana University College
of Business finance competition team and also served as an ambassador for the SELU
College of Business; and
       WHEREAS, she is a loyal volunteer for Our Daily Bread food pantry, and has been
a volunteer on Project Prom, a nonprofit started by her mother which provides free prom
dresses to high school students who are unhoused, in foster care, or otherwise in need of
support; and
       WHEREAS, Madison's goal is to attend law school and pursue a career in contract
law; and
       WHEREAS, she currently works for the St. Tammany Parish Clerk of Court finance
department; and
       WHEREAS, during Madison's one-year tenure with the St. Tammany Parish Fair,
she has served as the spokesperson and representative for the fair, making special
appearances and performing philanthropic work; and
       WHEREAS, in January 2026, as Fair Queen, Madison competed at the Louisiana
Association of Fairs and Festivals for the title of LAFF Queen, representing the St.
Tammany Parish Fair and placing in the top ten in a competition of over sixty fair and

festival queens.
       THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana
does hereby commend Madison Hogan on being crowned the 100th Miss St. Tammany
Parish Fair Queen.
       BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to
Madison Hogan.
