To enact section 6109.041 of the Revised Code to 1

and point-of-entry treatment devices in certain 3
circumstances. 4
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 6109.041 of the Revised Code be 5
enacted to read as follows: 6
Sec. 6109.041. The director of environmental protection, 7
in a manner consistent with federal law, shall adopt rules under 8
section 6109.04 of the Revised Code to allow a public water 9
system to use point-of-use and point-of-entry treatment devices 10
to reduce any contaminant in order to achieve compliance with a 11
maximum contaminant level established under this chapter or in 12
rules adopted under it. The director may impose conditions on a 13
public water system that uses point-of-use or point-of-entry 14
treatment devices to protect public health and safety. 15

To enact section 6109.041 of the Revised Code to allow a public water system to use point-of-use and point-of-entry treatment devices in certain circumstances.
