No. 4542025-2026Senator ReinekeTo enact section 6109.041 of the Revised Code to 1allow a public water system to use point-of-use 2and point-of-entry treatment devices in certain 3circumstances. 4BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:Section 1. That section 6109.041 of the Revised Code be 5enacted to read as follows: 6Sec. 6109.041. The director of environmental protection, 7in a manner consistent with federal law, shall adopt rules under 8section 6109.04 of the Revised Code to allow a public water 9system to use point-of-use and point-of-entry treatment devices 10to reduce any contaminant in order to achieve compliance with a 11maximum contaminant level established under this chapter or in 12rules adopted under it. The director may impose conditions on a 13public water system that uses point-of-use or point-of-entry 14treatment devices to protect public health and safety. 15
To enact section 6109.041 of the Revised Code to allow a public water system to use point-of-use and point-of-entry treatment devices in certain circumstances.
