h8637/introduced.txt2026 -- H 8637========LC006594========STATE OF RHODE ISLANDIN GENERAL ASSEMBLYJANUARY SESSION, A.D. 2026____________HOUSE RESOLUTIONTHANKING REPRESENTATIVE ROBERT "BOB" QUATTROCCHI FOR HIS DEDICATEDSERVICE TO THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF RHODE ISLANDIntroduced By: Representatives Chippendale, Kazarian, Nardone, Roberts, Fascia, Place,Paplauskas, Hopkins, Santucci, and NewberryDate Introduced: June 11, 2026Referred To: House read and passed(`)1WHEREAS, The Honorable Robert "Bob" Quattrocchi has served with distinction as the2 State Representative for District 41, representing the residents of Scituate and a portion of3 Cranston since first taking office in January of 2017; and4WHEREAS, Throughout his tenure in the Rhode Island House of Representatives,5 Representative Quattrocchi earned the respect of colleagues and constituents alike through his6 dedication to public service, thoughtful deliberation, and steadfast commitment to the people he7 was elected to serve; and8WHEREAS, Recognized for his leadership abilities and commitment to his caucus,9 Representative Quattrocchi served as Deputy Minority Leader and Deputy Minority Whip,10 providing guidance, support, and institutional knowledge to his fellow legislators; and11WHEREAS, During his service in the General Assembly, Representative Quattrocchi12 served as a member of the House Committee on Oversight, the House Committee on Municipal13 Government and Housing, and the Committee on Special Legislation, and also contributed his14 time and expertise as a member of the House Study Commission on Geo Engineering and the15 Multi-Unit Housing Recycling Program Study Commission; and16WHEREAS, Representative Quattrocchi was known for approaching legislative matters17 with diligence and careful consideration, drawing upon his experiences as a small business18 owner, community volunteer, husband, father, and lifelong Rhode Island resident when19 evaluating issues affecting the State and its citizens; and1WHEREAS, A proud fourth-generation Rhode Islander and longtime resident of Scituate,2 Representative Quattrocchi consistently advocated for the interests of his constituents while3 working to strengthen the quality of life in the communities he represented; and4WHEREAS, As a legislator, Representative Quattrocchi devoted himself to promoting5 accountable, transparent, and efficient government and remained committed to ensuring that the6 voices and concerns of Rhode Islanders were heard throughout the legislative process; and7WHEREAS, Beyond his legislative service, Representative Quattrocchi has been an8 active and engaged member of his community, supporting numerous civic, charitable,9 educational, and youth organizations, including the Scituate Lions Club, local libraries, youth10 sports programs, school activities, and community events; and11WHEREAS, A graduate of the American Motorcycle Institute in Daytona, Florida,12 Representative Quattrocchi successfully owned and operated Rhode Island small businesses and13 brought an entrepreneurial perspective and strong work ethic to his public service; and14WHEREAS, His dedication to his community was recognized in 2020 when he was15 named the Sons and Daughters of Italy Vince Lombardi Lodge Man of the Year, an honor16 reflecting his many contributions to the residents of Scituate and the surrounding area; and17WHEREAS, As Representative Quattrocchi concludes his final legislative session, it is18 fitting that this House recognizes his years of faithful service, his commitment to his constituents,19 and the many contributions he has made to the State of Rhode Island; now, therefore be it20RESOLVED, That this House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island hereby21 expresses its sincere gratitude to Representative Robert "Bob" Quattrocchi for his dedicated22 service in the Rhode Island General Assembly, congratulates him on his years of23 accomplishments on behalf of the people of District 41 and the State of Rhode Island, and24 extends its heartfelt best wishes for continued health, happiness, and success in all his future25 endeavors; and be it further26RESOLVED, That the Secretary of State be and hereby is authorized and directed to27 transmit a duly certified copy of this resolution to the Honorable Robert "Bob" Quattrocchi.========LC006594========LC006594 - Page 2 of 2
