OFCOLUMBIA ON THE OCCASION OF ITS FORTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY AND TO WISH THISLOCALLY OWNED BUSINESS MUCH CONTINUED SUCCESS IN THE DAYS TO COME.Whereas, the SouthCarolina House of Representatives is pleased to learn that Green Earth ServicesInc. of Columbia is celebrating its forty-fifth anniversary in 2026; andWhereas, founded byDavid Livingston on September 1, 1981, Green Earth Services Inc. has beendesigning, installing, and maintaining award-winning landscapes throughout theMidlands of South Carolina over its forty-five years of service. What began asa one-truck operation has grown into a full-service landscape design/buildcompany with a fleet of more than forty vehicles and a reputation forexceptional customer service. The company now employs forty-two people; andWhereas, for bothresidential and commercial clients, the company provides comprehensivelandscape services, including landscape design and installation; trees, shrubs,and sod; irrigation systems; landscape lighting; hardscapes (retaining walls,walkways, patios, outdoor fireplaces, fire pits, pergolas, etc.); hydroseeding;water features; commercial grounds maintenance; and high-end residentiallandscape maintenance; andWhereas, DavidLivingston, as president of the company, is South Carolina's only nationallyChartered Certified Landscape Professional (CCLP). He built the company on afoundation of quality workmanship, long-term relationships, and exceptionalcustomer service, and as a result, many of Green Earth's clients have remainedwith the company for more than twenty-five years. The company's success issupported by a knowledgeable and experienced team; andWhereas, forty-fiveyears after he founded the company, David still goes to work at 4:15 a.m. anddoesn't come home until 5:30 p.m. because he believes in being there for hiscustomers and his team; andWhereas, the House ofRepresentatives takes great pleasure in recognizing this respected andestablished company and in honoring the fine service it has provided for almosthalf a century.
