The committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure, to
whom was referred the petition (accompanied by bill, House, No. 5445) of
Homar Gómez (with the approval of the city council) that the city of
Easthampton be authorized the issue 8 additional licenses for the sale of
all alcoholic beverages, reports recommending that the accompanying bill
(House, No. 5547) ought to pass.

An Act extending the timeframe for the issuance of licenses granted pursuant to Chapter 46 of
the Acts of 2020 in the city of Easthampton.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
of the same, as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Subsection (f) of section 1 of chapter 46 of the acts of 2020 is hereby
2 amended by striking out the words “within 3 years after the effective date of this act” and
3 inserting in place thereof the following words:- on or before January 1, 2030.
4 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
