  A RESOLUTION
  Honoring Dominic Knapp as the 2026 Division III State        1
  Champion in the boys pole vault.  2
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 136th   3
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to recognize Dominic Knapp on       4
winning the 2026 Division III State Championship in the boys pole        5
vault; and  6
     WHEREAS, A junior member of the Bloom-Carroll High School track     7
and field team, Dominic Knapp is deserving of praise for his  8
remarkable athletic gifts and indomitable spirit. At this year's  9
Division III State Meet, he put his talent on display by clearing 15     10
feet, 10 inches to win the pole vault title, and understandably, the     11
strength, stamina, and skill that he has exhibited have earned him       12
many admirers; and  13
     WHEREAS, Throughout the season, Dominic Knapp could always be       14
counted on to shine, and by maintaining his morale, composure, and       15
good sportsmanship, he has gained the respect of even his most  16
determined rivals. Indeed, his involvement in sports has enabled him     17
to learn much about dedication, self-discipline, and leadership, and     18
in the process, his exceptional prowess has made all those who have      19
supported him very proud; and  20
     WHEREAS, We are pleased to pay tribute to Dominic Knapp on his      21
stalwart accomplishment. Throughout his high school athletic career,     22
he has prepared conscientiously in pursuit of excellence, and his        23
unwavering commitment has established a notable legacy at Bloom-  24
Carroll High School; therefore be it  25
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of   26
the 136th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,  27

applaud Dominic Knapp on his state championship in the pole vault and      28
look with optimism to his continued success; and be it further  29
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit     30
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Dominic Knapp.  31
