BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND,13 (Three–fifths of all the members elected to each of the two Houses concurring), That14 Sections 2 through 4 of Chapter 156 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 2026 be and15 they are hereby withdrawn and recalled.16 SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections 2 through 4 of17 Chapter 156 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 2026 be and they are hereby repealed.18SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland read19 as follows:20Chapter 156 of the Acts of 202621SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 1 of this Act is22 contingent on the passage of Section 2 of [this Act] CHAPTER 155 OF THE ACTS OF THEEXPLANATION: CAPITALS INDICATE MATTER ADDED TO EXISTING LAW.[Brackets] indicate matter deleted from existing law.*sb2101*2SENATE BILL 21011 GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF 2026, a constitutional amendment, and its ratification by voters2 of the State.3SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is an emergency4 measure, is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health or safety, has5 been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by three–fifths of all the members elected to6 each of the two Houses of the General Assembly, and shall take effect from the date it is7 enacted.
