805 ILCS 5/15.98 rep.
Amends the Business Corporation Act of 1983. Repeals provisions imposing a social media platform fee.

1 AN ACT concerning revenue.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Business Corporation Act of 1983 is amended
5 by changing Section 15.05 as follows:
6 (805 ILCS 5/15.05) (from Ch. 32, par. 15.05)
7 Sec. 15.05. Fees, franchise taxes, and charges to be
8 collected by Secretary of State. The Secretary of State shall
9 charge and collect in accordance with the provisions of this
10 Act:
11 (a) Fees for filing documents.
12 (b) License fees.
13 (c) Franchise taxes.
14 (d) Miscellaneous charges.
15 (e) Fees for filing annual reports.
16 (f) (Blank). [Social media platform fees.]
