A house RESOLUTION
to recognize and honor Vanester Evans for her
faithful and devoted service to SAINT Paul African methodist Episcopal Church
in horry county.
Whereas, Mrs. Vanester
Evans has been a faithful and devoted member of Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal
Church for fifty years, demonstrating unwavering commitment to the mission and ministry
of the church; and
Whereas, throughout her
years of dedicated service, she has faithfully served in numerous leadership
and ministry roles, including class leader, steward, church treasurer,
president of the jubilee choir, and in several other capacities, generously
sharing her time, talents, wisdom, and gifts for the advancement of the
church's congregation; and
Whereas, Mrs. Evans has
extended her servant leadership beyond the walls of the church by serving as chairperson
of the Chestnut Consolidated High School organization for the past twenty-five
years, providing outstanding leadership and steadfast support to educational,
historical, and community initiatives; and
Whereas, she has
further exemplified excellence in civic and fraternal service through her
faithful leadership as Worthy Matron of Moonlight Chapter No. 168, discharging
her duties with dignity, integrity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to
the principals of the Order of the Eastern Star; and
Whereas, her life of
faithful service, exemplary leadership, Christian character, and selfless
dedication has been a source of inspiration to countless individuals, enriching
both Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church and the greater community
she so faithfully serves. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the
South Carolina House of Representatives,
by this resolution,
recognize and honor
Vanester Evans for her enduring commitment, exceptional leadership, unwavering
faith and exemplary service to Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Be it further resolved
that a copy of this resolution be presented to Mrs. Vanester Evans.
