A house RESOLUTION
To congratulate Nixon Woods Wooten and offer best
wishes to SopharvathDy Vandy Vorn upon their upcoming nuptials.
Whereas, the members of
the South Carolina House of Representatives are delighted to learn that Sopharvathdy
Vorn and Woods Wooten, son of our colleague the Honorable Chris Wooten, are to
be wed on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the Eternal Father of the Sea Chapel
in North Charleston; and
Whereas, Miss Vorn and
Mr. Wooten earned bachelor's degrees from Wofford College: they are proud
Terriers. His bachelor's degree was in government, and she earned a master's
degree from Liberty University in counseling; and
Whereas, the South
Carolina House of Representatives wishes the couple a beautiful wedding day and
a lifetime of joy as they become husband and wife. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the
South Carolina House of Representatives,
by this resolution, congratulate Nixon Woods Wooten and offer best wishes to
Sopharvathdy Vandy Vorn upon their upcoming nuptials.
Be it further resolved
that a copy of this resolution be presented to Sopharvathdy Vandy Vorn and Nixon
Woods Wooten.
