hb6278/introduced.txtHOUSE BILL NO. 6278A bill to amend 1998 PA 58, entitled"Michigan liquor control code of 1998,"(MCL 436.1101 to 436.2303) by adding section 528.the people of the state of michigan enact:Sec. 528. (1) Anapplicant shall ensure that the applicant's application for a special licenseis received by the commission not less than 45 days before the date the licenseis desired. If the commission approves the application, the commission shallapprove the application not later than 10 days before the date desired by theapplicant.(2) Any individual authorized by an organization applying for a speciallicense may sign the application form.(3) Not later than 12 months after the effective date of the amendatoryact that added this section, an applicant may electronically submit anapplication to the commission in a manner determined by the commission.Enacting section 1. R436.575 and R 436.576 of the Michigan Administrative Code are rescinded.
