  R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The annual Bon Temps Rouler Cajun Throwdown BBQ and
  Crawfish Cook-Off is taking place at Mac McGaffey Highland Bayou
  Park in La Marque on March 21 and 22, 2025; and
         WHEREAS, This much-anticipated event celebrates the rich
  culinary traditions and vibrant community spirit of Texas and
  attracts visitors from across the state and beyond; attendees have
  the opportunity to sample a variety of savory dishes while enjoying
  a fun, family-oriented get-together that also includes live music
  and local vendors; and
         WHEREAS, Presented by BTR Caring for Kids Foundation, a
  nonprofit committed to improving the lives of children, as well as
  the Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce, the contest raises
  funds for deserving organizations and initiatives; it also serves
  to highlight the dedication of local organizations to fostering
  unity, supporting charitable endeavors, and promoting the region's
  unique culture; and
         WHEREAS, The Bon Temps Rouler Cajun Throwdown BBQ and
  Crawfish Cook-Off offers area residents and visitors alike the
  chance to enjoy excellent food and spirited competition while
  benefiting worthwhile causes, and it promises to be a source of fond
  memories for all who attend; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature hereby commemorate the 2025 Bon Temps Rouler Cajun
  Throwdown BBQ and Crawfish Cook-Off and extend to the organizers,
  contestants, and attendees sincere best wishes for a fun and
  successful event; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
  for BTR Caring for Kids Foundation and the Texas City-La Marque
  Chamber of Commerce as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
