DULUTH; LAKEWOOD WATER TREATMENT PLANT1.7IMPROVEMENTS.1.8Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $21,208,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds1.9fund to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to the city of Duluth to design and construct1.10improvements and betterments of a capital nature to the Lakewood water treatment plant,1.11including rehabilitation of the granular infiltration system, roof repair, and other1.12improvements to support ongoing operations in addition to improvements of water reservoirs1.13and pump stations.1.14Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond1.15proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue bonds of1.16the state in an amount up to $21,208,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect1.17prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota1.18Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.1.19EFFECTIVE DATE. This section is effective the day following final enactment.Section 1. 1
