AN ACT to amend chapter 389 of the laws of 2024  amending  the  environ-
  mental  conservation  law  relating to authorizing hunting big game by
  rifle in the county of Niagara, in relation to the effectiveness ther-
  eof
  The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
bly, do enact as follows:
1  Section  1.  Section 5 of chapter 389 of the laws of 2024 amending the
2environmental conservation law relating to authorizing hunting big  game
3by rifle in the county of Niagara, is amended to read as follows:
4  § 5. This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that:
5  a.  the  amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907
6of the environmental conservation law made by section one  of  this  act
7shall  be  subject  to  the  expiration  and reversion of such paragraph
8pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended;
9  b. the amendments to item (f) of  paragraph  a  of  subdivision  2  of
10section  11-0907  of  the environmental conservation law made by section
11two of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such
12item pursuant to paragraph d of section 5 of chapter 152 of the laws  of
132020, as amended;
14  c.  sections  three  and  four  of this act shall take effect upon the
15expiration and reversion of paragraph a  of  subdivision  2  of  section
1611-0907 of the environmental conservation law, as provided in section 13
17of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended; and
18  d.  nothing  contained  in this act shall be construed so as to extend
19the provisions of this act beyond October 1, [[2026]] 2028, when upon such
20date this act shall expire and the provisions contained herein shall  be
21deemed repealed.
22  § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
