ORTT -- read twice and ordered printed, and whenprinted to be committed to the Committee on Environmental ConservationAN ACT to amend chapter 389 of the laws of 2024 amending the environ-mental conservation law relating to authorizing hunting big game byrifle in the county of Niagara, in relation to the effectiveness ther-eofThe People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:1 Section 1. Section 5 of chapter 389 of the laws of 2024 amending the2 environmental conservation law relating to authorizing hunting big game3 by rifle in the county of Niagara, is amended to read as follows:4 § 5. This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that:5 a. the amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-09076 of the environmental conservation law made by section one of this act7 shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such paragraph8 pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended;9 b. the amendments to item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of10 section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section11 two of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such12 item pursuant to paragraph d of section 5 of chapter 152 of the laws of13 2020, as amended;14 c. sections three and four of this act shall take effect upon the15 expiration and reversion of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section16 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law, as provided in section 1317 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended; and18 d. nothing contained in this act shall be construed so as to extend19 the provisions of this act beyond October 1, [2026] 2028, when upon such20 date this act shall expire and the provisions contained herein shall be21 deemed repealed.22 § 2.
