b260330/enrolled.txtENGROSSED ORIGINAL12A BILL34526-330678IN THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA910__________111213 To officially designate the playground and dog park at 26th Street N.W. and I Street N.W. as14Green’s Court Park.1516BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, That this17 act may be cited as the “Green’s Court Park Designation Act of 2026”.18Sec. 2. Pursuant to sections 401 and 422 of the Street and Alley Closing and Acquisition19 Procedures Act of 1982, effective March 10, 1983 (D.C. Law 4-201; D.C. Official Code §§ 9-20 204.01, and 9-204.22), the Council designates the park at 26th Street N.W. and I Street N.W. as21 depicted in the plat in the committee report, as “Green’s Court Park”.22Sec. 3. Applicability.23(a) This act shall apply upon the date of inclusion of its fiscal effect in an approved24 budget and financial plan.25(b) The Chief Financial Officer shall certify the date of the inclusion of the fiscal effect in26 an approved budget and financial plan, and provide notice to the Budget Director of the Council27 of the certification.28(c)(1) The Budget Director shall cause the notice of the certification to be published in1ENGROSSED ORIGINAL29 the District of Columbia Register.30(2) The date of publication of the notice of the certification shall not affect the31 applicability of this act.32Sec. 4. Fiscal impact statement.33The Council adopts the fiscal impact statement in the committee report as the fiscal34 impact statement required by section 4a of the General Legislative Procedures Act of 1975,35 approved October 16, 2006 (120 Stat. 2038; D.C. Official Code § 1-301.47a).36Sec. 5. Effective date.37This act shall take effect following approval by the Mayor (or in the event of veto by the38 Mayor, action by the Council to override the veto), a 30-day period of congressional review as39 provided in section 602(c)(1) of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act, approved December40 24, 1973 (87 Stat. 813; D.C. Official Code §1-206.02(c)(1)), and publication in the District of41 Columbia Register.2
