H.R. No. 104
  R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, John Kliewer and his family have distinguished
  themselves through their 34 years of service as the owners of
  Patriot Buick GMC in Killeen; and
         WHEREAS, Under the able leadership of the Kliewer family,
  Patriot Buick GMC opened its doors in 1991, and over the years, it
  has served countless customers in Fort Hood and the greater Killeen
  area; in addition, the car dealership has supported local military
  families, and it has sponsored a number of youth programs and civic
  initiatives; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Kliewer, the former president of Patriot Buick
  GMC, oversaw the sale of the business to Ancira Auto Group on
  July 1, 2025; the sale will afford the Kliewer family more time to
  focus on their other business, BKCW Insurance in Killeen; and
         WHEREAS, Patriot Buick GMC has contributed to the vitality
  and economic well-being of its community for nearly three and a half
  decades, and the members of the Kliewer family may indeed take pride
  in their achievements as local business leaders; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 89th Texas
  Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby commend John Kliewer and
  his family for their service as the owners of Patriot Buick GMC in
  Killeen and extend to them sincere best wishes for the future; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the Kliewer family as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
