No. 20HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTIONWHEREAS, St. Ann's Catholic School in Midland is celebratingits 75th anniversary in 2025; andWHEREAS, Founded in 1950, St. Ann's Catholic School servesstudents in prekindergarten through the eighth grade; a faith-basedcoeducational institution, it offers a curriculum that includeslanguage arts, mathematics, science, and social studies, as well asenrichment in such areas as physical education, Spanish, music, andart; andWHEREAS, Today, St. Ann's benefits from the able guidance ofprincipal Tracy Owen, who attended and has taught at the school;other St. Ann's graduates have gone on to become doctors, lawyers,judges, and politicians, and the school also counts an Olympianamong its alumni; andWHEREAS, For three-quarters of a century, the faculty andstaff of St. Ann's Catholic School have committed themselves tomeeting the educational needs of their students, and the school hasplayed a vital role in helping many young Texans build a bright andfulfilling future; now, therefore, be itRESOLVED, That the 89th Legislature of the State of Texas,2nd Called Session, hereby commemorate the 75th anniversary ofSt. Ann's Catholic School and extend to all those associated withthe institution sincere best wishes for continued success; and, beit furtherRESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution beprepared for the school as an expression of high regard by the TexasHouse of Representatives and Senate.Craddick____________________________________________________________President of the SenateSpeaker of the HouseI certify that H.C.R.
