NEW LAW A new section of law to be codified1415 in the Oklahoma Statutes as Section 1-712.1 of Title 63, unless1516 there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:1617 A hospital, medical facility, or long-term care facility1718 licensed by the State Department of Health shall publish on its1819 website, and keep updated, all policies and procedures of the1920 hospital, medical facility, or long-term care facility. The State2021 Commissioner of Health shall promulgate rules to implement this2122 section.2223232424Req. No. 1568 Page 11SECTION 2. Any person shall have the right to obtain, upon request,89 detailed information of all additions, deletions, and other edits to910 his or her medical records made by a hospital, medical facility, or1011 long-term care facility, or those of:1112 1. A minor child of whom the person is the parent or legal1213 guardian; or1314 2. Any other patient who lacks capacity to make medical1415 decisions and for whom the person has legal authority to make such1516 decisions and would have legal access to the patient’s medical1617 records.1718 SECTION 3.
