Duhigg5 and Pete Campos and Anita Gonzales678910 AN ACT11 MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE BOARD OF REGENTS OF THE12 UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO TO DEVELOP AND EXPAND PHYSICIAN13 RESIDENCY POSITIONS IN MEDICALLY UNDERSERVED RURAL COMMUNITIES.1415 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:16 SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three million dollars[bracketed material] = delete17 ($3,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the boardunderscored material = new18 of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in19 fiscal years 2027 through 2029 for the university of New20 Mexico's graduate medical education program to assist hospitals21 in the state to develop and expand physician residencies in22 family practice, internal medicine, obstetrics, gynecology and23 pediatrics in medically underserved rural areas of the state.24 Any unexpended balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 202925 shall revert to the general fund..232835.1
