                                11   MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH TREATMENT
                                12   AND TRAINING TO FIRST RESPONDERS.

                                14   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
                                15        SECTION 1.   APPROPRIATION.--Two million dollars
                                16   ($2,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the

                                17   department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2027 to

                                18   provide behavioral health treatment and training to first
                                19   responders.   Any unexpended balance remaining at the end of
