1A reviser's bill to be entitled
2An act relating to the Florida Statutes; repealing ss.
328.2225, 39.4093, 112.061(4)(d), 250.245, 288.8165,
4316.5501, 320.08053(4), 321.04(3)(b) and (5),
5339.08(4), 455.213(16), 553.80(8), 1004.6495(10),
61008.22(14), 1008.34(7), and 1008.341(7), F.S., to
7delete provisions which have become inoperative by
8noncurrent repeal or expiration and, pursuant to s.
911.242(5)(b) and (i), F.S., may be omitted from the
102026 Florida Statutes only through a reviser's bill
11duly enacted by the Legislature; providing an
12effective date.

14Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Florida:

16Section 1.       Section 28.2225, Florida Statutes, is repealed.
17Reviser's note.—The cited section, which relates to a pilot
18program for title fraud prevention through identity
19verification, was repealed pursuant to its own terms,
20effective July 1, 2025.
21Section 2.       Section 39.4093, Florida Statutes, is repealed.
22Reviser's note.—The cited section, which relates to the Task
23Force on the Monitoring of Children in Out-of-Home Care,
24was repealed pursuant to its own terms, effective June 30,
252025.

26Section 3.       Paragraph (d) of subsection (4) of section
27    112.061, Florida Statutes, is repealed.
28    Reviser's note.—The cited paragraph, which relates to an
29official headquarters for a Lieutenant Governor for conduct
30of state business, expired pursuant to its own terms,
31effective July 1, 2025.
32Section 4.       Section 250.245, Florida Statutes, is repealed.
33    Reviser's note.—The cited section, which relates to the Florida
34National Guard Joint Enlistment Enhancement Program,
35expired pursuant to its own terms, effective July 1, 2025.
36Section 5.       Section 288.8165, Florida Statutes, is
37    repealed.
38    Reviser's note.—The cited section, which relates to citizen
39support organizations to provide assistance, funding, and
40promotional support for the intergovernmental programs of
41the Department of State, was repealed pursuant to its own
42terms, effective October 1, 2025.
43Section 6.       Section 316.5501, Florida Statutes, is
44    repealed.
45    Reviser's note.—The cited section, which relates to a permitting
46program for combination truck tractor, semitrailer, and
47trailer combination coupled as a single unit subject to
48certain requirements, automatically expired pursuant to its
49own terms, effective January 1, 2025, unless reauthorized
50by the Legislature; the program was not reauthorized.

51Section 7.       Subsection (4) of section 320.08053, Florida
52    Statutes, is repealed.
53    Reviser's note.—The cited subsection, which relates to extension
54of the presale period for the Florida State Beekeepers
55Association specialty license plate for an additional 12
56months, expired pursuant to its own terms, effective July
571, 2025.
58Section 8.       Paragraph (b) of subsection (3) and subsection
59    (5) of section 321.04, Florida Statutes, are repealed.
60    Reviser's note.—Paragraph (3)(b), which relates to assignment of
61one or more patrol officers to the office of the Lieutenant
62Governor for security services for the 2024-2025 fiscal
63year only, and subsection (5), which relates to assignment
64of a patrol officer to a Cabinet member under specified
65circumstances for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, expired
66pursuant to their own terms, effective July 1, 2025.
67Section 9.       Subsection (4) of section 339.08, Florida
68    Statutes, is repealed.
69    Reviser's note.—The cited subsection, which relates to
70appropriation of funds, for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025
71fiscal years only, to the State Transportation Trust Fund
72from the General Revenue Fund and the Discretionary Sales
73Surtax Clearing Trust Fund as provided in the General
74Appropriations Act, expired pursuant to its own terms,
75effective July 1, 2025.

76Section 10.  Subsection (16) of section 455.213, Florida
77     Statutes, is repealed.
78     Reviser's note.—The cited subsection, which waives 50 percent of
79the initial licensing fee for an applicant applying for an
80initial license for a profession under chapter 455 for the
812023-2024 and 2024-2025 fiscal years, expired pursuant to
82its own terms, effective July 1, 2025.
83Section 11.  Subsection (8) of section 553.80, Florida
84     Statutes, is repealed.
85     Reviser's note.—The cited subsection, which prohibits raising
86building inspection fees by local governments located in
87areas designated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency
88disaster declarations for Hurricane Ian or Hurricane Nicole
89before October 1, 2024, expired pursuant to its own terms,
90effective June 30, 2025.
91Section 12.  Subsection (10) of section 1004.6495, Florida
92     Statutes, is repealed.
93     Reviser's note.—The cited subsection, which requires
94establishment, no later than August 31, 2024, by the Board
95of Governors and the State Board of Education, in
96consultation with the Florida Center for Students with
97Unique Abilities, of a state Classification of Instruction
98Program code for Florida Postsecondary Comprehensive
99Transition Programs established pursuant to the section,
100expired pursuant to its own terms, effective July 1, 2025.

101Section 13.  Subsection (14) of section 1008.22, Florida
102    Statutes, is repealed.
103    Reviser's note.—The cited subsection, which relates to an
104independent review and recommendations relating to the
105coordinated screening and progress monitoring system under
106s. 1008.25(9), was repealed pursuant to its own terms,
107effective July 1, 2025.
108Section 14.  Subsection (7) of section 1008.34, Florida
109    Statutes, is repealed.
110    Reviser's note.—The cited subsection, which relates to providing
111a transition and requirements for calculation of school and
112district grades for the 2022-2023 school year, exempting
113certain schools from specified provisions, and requirements
114for determining grade 3 retention and high school
115graduation for the school year, was repealed pursuant to
116its own terms, effective July 1, 2025.
117Section 15.  Subsection (7) of section 1008.341, Florida
118    Statutes, is repealed.
119    Reviser's note.—The cited subsection, which provides that school
120improvement ratings will not be calculated for the 2022-
1212023 school year, and that the State Board of Education
122shall set a specified scale of ratings pursuant to rule
123upon the availability of learning gains data in the 2023-
1242024 school year, was repealed pursuant to its own terms,
125effective July 1, 2025.
