1A HOUSE RESOLUTION honoring the Indy Thunder
2    beep baseball team.
3      Whereas, The Indy Thunder organization provides
4    opportunities for visually impaired individuals to participate in
5    organized sports, including exhibition games, and engages in
6    public speaking to educate the broader community on the
7    capabilities of individuals who are visually impaired;
8Whereas, The Indy Thunder secured its sixth National Beep
9    Baseball Association World Series championship by completing
10    the 2025 season with an undefeated 26-0 record, a remarkable
11    achievement that exemplifies the team's discipline, hard work,
12    and exceptional skill;
13Whereas, The team has earned six national championships
14    in nine years, demonstrating the collective dedication of its

1    players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters, most notably
2    Head Coach Darnell Booker, whose vision and leadership have
3    propelled the organization to sustained success; and
4Whereas, The Indy Thunder beep baseball team has
5    displayed outstanding athletic excellence, steadfast leadership,
6    and unwavering commitment to inclusion within the visually
7    impaired community: Therefore,
8Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the
9General Assembly of the State of Indiana:
10SECTION 1. That the Indiana House of Representatives
11    honors the Indy Thunder for its historic undefeated 2025 season
12    and for winning the National Beep Baseball Association World
13    Series championship, reflecting the team's enduring legacy of
14    success, dedicated leadership, and profound commitment to the
15    blind and visually impaired community.
16SECTION 2. That the Principal Clerk of the House of
17    Representatives shall transmit copies of this resolution to State
18    Representative Robin Shackleford for distribution.
