11 MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY TO ENSURE
12 FULL REIMBURSEMENT FOR HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS WHO PROVIDE VAGUS
13 NERVE STIMULATION TO MEDICAID RECIPIENTS.

15 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
16 SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred seventy thousand
[bracketed material] = delete
17 dollars ($370,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
underscored material = new
18 health care authority for expenditure in fiscal year 2027 to
19 ensure full reimbursement for health care providers who provide
20 vagus nerve stimulation to medicaid recipients. Any unexpended
21 balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2027 shall revert
22 to the general fund.
