                                11   MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR
                                12   THE NEW MEXICO HISTORIC WOMEN MARKER PROGRAM.

                                14   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
                                15        SECTION 1.   APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred fifty thousand
                                16   dollars ($450,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the

                                17   cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal years

                                18   2026 through 2029 for the expansion and continuing
                                19   implementation of the New Mexico historic women marker program.
                                20   Any unexpended balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2029
