11 MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR LAND PURCHASES AND MATCHING FUNDS
12 BY THE OFFICE OF NATURAL RESOURCES TRUSTEE FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES.

14 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
15 SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred million dollars
16 ($100,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the

17 office of natural resources trustee for expenditure in fiscal

18 years 2027 through 2029 for land or interests in land for the
19 creation, expansion or restoration of public land, including up
20 to thirty million dollars ($30,000,000) for state matching
21 funds to political subdivisions of the state that have been
22 approved for federal assistance funding due to a natural
23 disaster. Any unexpended balance remaining at the end of
24 fiscal year 2029 shall revert to the general fund.
