OSTEN, 19th Dist.AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE TO EXTEND THESPRAGUE STREETSCAPE PROJECT IN THE TOWN OF SPRAGUE.Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in GeneralAssembly convened:1That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the2 issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the3 general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate4 one million dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the5 Department of Economic and Community Development for the purpose6 of providing a grant-in-aid to the town of Sprague to extend the Sprague7 Streetscape Project to upgrade all three municipal playgrounds, finish8 upgrading all streetlights to the same standard as the streetlights located9 on Main Street in the village of Baltic by installing ten streetlights and10 flashing lights for both schools and install an informational electronic11 bulletin board.Statement of Purpose:To provide funding to the town of Sprague to extend the SpragueStreetscape Project.LCO No. 1001 1 of 1
