                                        for
1 AN ACT relating to community college districts; specifying
2 requirements      for   the    transition  of   the    northern    Wyoming
3 community      college        to     the       Gilette      community     college
4 district; and providing for an effective date.

6 Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Wyoming:

8Section 1.       2021 Wyoming Session Laws,  Chapter 120,
9 Section 1(c)(iii) is amended to read:

11Section 1.

13(c)      Upon approval of the Gillette community
14college district by the electors, the following
15shall   apply     to    the    formation        of    the   Gillette

1community      college       district       and     the    transition
2from    the    Northern        Wyoming  community     college
3district:

5(iii)    During  each      year      of     any
6transition  period    under        this     subsection,     the
7Northern Wyoming community college district shall
8continue      to     receive       the     allocation       for   both
9districts      from     the        funding       allocation       model
10implemented by the community college commission,
11until     such time  that    the  Gillette    community
12college        district  receives  institutional
13accreditation, or until July 1, 2026, whichever
14occurs first.

16Section 2.      This act is effective July 1, 2026.
