1AN ACT
2 To designate a portion of Louisiana Highway 5 in Logansport, Louisiana, DeSoto Parish as
3the "Eugene Washington Memorial Highway"; to provide for implementation; and
4to provide for related matters.
5 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
6Section 1. The portion of Louisiana Highway 5 between United States Highway 84
7 and Louisiana Highway 3015 in Logansport, Louisiana, DeSoto Parish shall be known and
8 is hereby designated as the "Eugene Washington Memorial Highway".
9Section 2. The Department of Transportation and Development is hereby directed
10 to erect and maintain appropriate signage reflecting this designation provided local or private
11 monies are received by the department equal to the department's actual costs for material,
12 fabrication, mounting posts, and installation of the signage, not to exceed the sum of seven
13 hundred fifty dollars per sign.
