3 CONGRATULATING THE ALBERTVILLE HIGH SCHOOL CHEER TEAM FOR
4 WINNING THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.

6WHEREAS, the Alabama Legislature takes great pride in
7 recognizing outstanding accomplishments by our state's
8 students and athletes; and
9WHEREAS, the Albertville High School Cheer Team has
10 achieved remarkable success by winning the 2026 National
11 High School Cheerleading Championship on February 1, 2026,
12 in the Large Gameday Division, bringing home a team trophy,
13 individual medals, and white champion jackets; and
14WHEREAS, the national championship follows
15 Albertville's Class 7A state championship on November 10,
16 2025; it was the team's first Alabama High School Athletic
17 Association sports title in school history, and now the
18 Albertville Aggies can add National winnings to their
19 impressive repertoire; and
20WHEREAS, the team has demonstrated a consistent level
21 of excellence by also winning the Alabama 7A North Regional
22 Gameday, the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Magic
23 City Regional Large Varsity Gameday, the UCA Space Center
24 Regional Large Varsity Gameday, the American Spirit League
25 Gameday Championship, the American Spirit League Grand
26 Championship, and the American Spirit League Best
27 Choreography of the Year Award; and
28WHEREAS, the outstanding members of the 2026

29 championship team are Adalynn Baker, Valerie Beasley, Aria
30 Bennefield, Ainzlee Boman, Eve Browning, Annalise Burke,
31 Rileigh-kay Busha, Emma Cox, Corbyn Jayne Eads, Betsy Floyd,
32 Trinity Harbison, Alivia Johnson, Macy Lang, Sadie Maltbie,
33 Olivia Moore, Ava Morton, Lauren Murphy, Alivia Nadrotowski,
34 Dezyree Oliver, Erah Kate Reese, Kendyll Sheffey, Mollie
35 Walker, Andie Kate Winegarden; and
36WHEREAS, the team has been expertly coached and
37 inspired by Jeromy Shaw, Tanika Colvin, and Mary Grace Hand,
38 who have provided unparalleled leadership and encouragement;
39 and
40WHEREAS, the achievements of this team bring great
41 pride to Albertville High School, the City of Albertville,
42 and the entirety of Marshall County; now therefore,
43BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, BOTH
44 HOUSES THEREOF CONCURRING, That the Albertville High School
45 Cheer Team is hereby commended and congratulated on their
46 outstanding victory in the 2026 National High School
47 Cheerleading Championship, and we offer this resolution in
48 tribute to a remarkable effort and successful finish.
