Enrolled, An Act,
CONGRATULATING THE ALBERTVILLE HIGH SCHOOL CHEER TEAM FOR
WINNING THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
WHEREAS, the Alabama Legislature takes great pride in
recognizing outstanding accomplishments by our state's
students and athletes; and
WHEREAS, the Albertville High School Cheer Team has
achieved remarkable success by winning the 2026 National
High School Cheerleading Championship on February 1, 2026,
in the Large Gameday Division, bringing home a team trophy,
individual medals, and white champion jackets; and
WHEREAS, the national championship follows
Albertville's Class 7A state championship on November 10,
2025; it was the team's first Alabama High School Athletic
Association sports title in school history, and now the
Albertville Aggies can add National winnings to their
impressive repertoire; and
WHEREAS, the team has demonstrated a consistent level
of excellence by also winning the Alabama 7A North Regional
Gameday, the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Magic
City Regional Large Varsity Gameday, the UCA Space Center
Regional Large Varsity Gameday, the American Spirit League
Gameday Championship, the American Spirit League Grand
Championship, and the American Spirit League Best
Choreography of the Year Award; and
WHEREAS, the outstanding members of the 2026

championship team are Adalynn Baker, Valerie Beasley, Aria
Bennefield, Ainzlee Boman, Eve Browning, Annalise Burke,
Rileigh-kay Busha, Emma Cox, Corbyn Jayne Eads, Betsy Floyd,
Trinity Harbison, Alivia Johnson, Macy Lang, Sadie Maltbie,
Olivia Moore, Ava Morton, Lauren Murphy, Alivia Nadrotowski,
Dezyree Oliver, Erah Kate Reese, Kendyll Sheffey, Mollie
Walker, Andie Kate Winegarden; and
WHEREAS, the team has been expertly coached and
inspired by Jeromy Shaw, Tanika Colvin, and Mary Grace Hand,
who have provided unparalleled leadership and encouragement;
and
WHEREAS, the achievements of this team bring great
pride to Albertville High School, the City of Albertville,
and the entirety of Marshall County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA, BOTH
HOUSES THEREOF CONCURRING, That the Albertville High School
Cheer Team is hereby commended and congratulated on their
outstanding victory in the 2026 National High School
Cheerleading Championship, and we offer this resolution in
tribute to a remarkable effort and successful finish.
