1AN ACT
2 To enact R.S. 32:403.3(B)(2)(c), relative to motor vehicle traffic stops; to require the
3Department of Public Safety and Corrections to create specially designed envelopes
4for individuals with certain disorders and disabilities; to improve traffic stop
5interactions; and to provide for related matters.
6 Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
7Section 1. R.S. 32:403.3(B)(2)(c) is hereby enacted to read as follows:
8§403.3. Identification stickers and decals; deaf and hard of hearing; autism spectrum
9disorder; mental, physical, or developmental disability

15(c) The Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of motor
16vehicles, may create specially designed envelopes to be provided to drivers with
17mental, physical, developmental disabilities, or autism spectrum disorder or their
18parents or legal guardians that provide proof as required by Subsection C of this
19Section. The envelopes may include guidelines to assist law enforcement officers
