HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 2026-4710, by Representative Reeves
1     WHEREAS, Dr. Kristin Saboe has distinguished herself as a
2 nationally recognized leader in industrial and organizational
3 psychology, advancing evidence-based strategies that strengthen
4 organizations, workplaces, and communities; and
5     WHEREAS, Dr. Saboe serves as the head of employee voice at one of
6 the world's most influential technology companies, where she leads
7 innovative work harnessing organizational research, strategy, and
8 policy to elevate employee experience and engagement; and
9     WHEREAS, Dr. Saboe is also a professor at Georgetown University,
10 and provides academic support at Seattle Pacific University,
11 contributing to academic excellence by educating and mentoring
12 emerging leaders in the fields of organizational psychology, people
13 analytics, and workplace strategy; and
14     WHEREAS, As a United States army veteran and a United States army
15 reserve futures innovation officer, Dr. Saboe has demonstrated
16 dedicated service to her country while applying psychological science
17 to optimize performance, talent management, and policy in military
18 contexts; and
19     WHEREAS, Dr. Saboe previously led employee listening, research,
20 and strategy at Washington's largest aerospace company, where she
21 authored and guided enterprise-wide talent and research strategy
22 initiatives that shaped organizational culture and capability; and

1     WHEREAS, A recognized fellow of the American psychological
2 association,    the   society    for   industrial    and    organizational
3 psychology, and the society for military psychology, Dr. Saboe has
4 earned prestigious early-career awards from leading professional
5 associations and was honored for her leadership impact by the
6 President George W. Bush institute; and
7     WHEREAS, Dr. Saboe has co-edited important scholarly works in her
8 field, and contributes her expertise in leadership, talent analytics,
9 and   evidence-based     human    capital    solutions    to    nonprofit,
10 professional, and advocacy efforts; and
11     WHEREAS, Through her pro bono service leading government
12 relations   and   advocacy   for   the    society   for   industrial   and
13 organizational psychology and as a founding board member of the
14 military   psychology   foundation,    Dr.    Saboe   has   advanced   the
15 translation of scientific insight into public-facing policy and
16 practice; and
17     WHEREAS, Dr. Saboe's commitment to excellence in research, her
18 distinguished professional service, and her contributions to both
19 academic and practitioner communities reflect great credit upon
20 herself, her colleagues, and the fields of psychology, organizational
21 science, and strategic workforce development;
22     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives
23 hereby honor Dr. Kristin Saboe for her outstanding achievements and
24 leadership in industrial and organizational psychology, her dedicated
25 service in the military and to national and global workplaces, and
26 her lasting impact as a scholar, strategist, and public servant; and
27     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be
28 presented to Dr. Kristin Saboe as an expression of respect,
29 admiration, and appreciation for her exemplary accomplishments and
30 contributions to society.
