9Relating to sales and use taxes; to exempt Tigers for
10 Tomorrow Exotic Animal Preserve, Incorporated, from the
11 payment of state sales and use taxes, and to authorize
12 counties and municipalities to adopt companion local
13 exemptions.
14 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
15Section 1. (a) Tigers for Tomorrow Exotic Animal
16 Preserve, Incorporated, is exempt from paying any state sales
17 and use taxes.
18(b) Any county or municipality may exempt the entity
19 from paying any county or municipal sales and use taxes in
20 accordance with Section 40-23-4.01, Code of Alabama 1975.
21Section 2. This act shall become effective on September
22 1, 2026.
