                          BY APPROPRIATIONS COMMITTEE
1AN ACT
2  RELATING TO THE APPROPRIATION TO THE IDAHO STATE POLICE; APPROPRIATING
3      ADDITIONAL MONEYS TO THE IDAHO STATE POLICE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2027; AND
4      DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
5  Be It Enacted by the Legislature of the State of Idaho:
6SECTION 1. In addition to any other appropriation provided by law,
7  there is hereby appropriated to the Idaho State Police the following amounts
8  to be expended according to the designated programs for personnel costs from
9  the listed funds for the period July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027:
10 I. DIRECTOR'S OFFICE:
11 FROM:
12 Idaho Law Enforcement (Project Choice) Fund  $130,000
13 II. CAPITOL PROTECTIVE SERVICES:
14 FROM:
15 Idaho Law Enforcement (Project Choice) Fund  $260,000
16 III. INVESTIGATIONS:

18 Idaho Law Enforcement (Project Choice) Fund  $2,210,000
19 IV. PATROL:
20 FROM:
21 Idaho Law Enforcement (Project Choice) Fund  $3,640,000
22 Federal Grant Fund  195,000
23  TOTAL  $3,835,000
24 V. LAW ENFORCEMENT PROGRAMS:

26 Idaho Law Enforcement (Project Choice) Fund  $260,000
27  GRAND TOTAL  $6,695,000
28     SECTION 2. An emergency existing therefor, which emergency is hereby
29 declared to exist, this act shall be in full force and effect on and after
30 July 1, 2026.
