  A RESOLUTION
  Honoring the Liberty Center High School cheerleading  1
  team on winning the 2026 International Cheer  2
  Competition Championship.  3
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly    4
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Liberty Center High School       5
cheerleading team on securing first place at the 2026 International      6
Cheer Competition in Orlando, Florida; and  7
     WHEREAS, An extremely talented group of young athletes, the  8
members of the Liberty Center High School cheerleading team have  9
certainly distinguished themselves as one of the finest squads in the    10
world. Under the capable direction of their coaches, they performed      11
admirably at this year’s International Cheer Competition, earning        12
first place to win the overall title. They are certainly deserving of    13
applause; and  14
     WHEREAS, The members of the Liberty Center High School  15
cheerleading team have conscientiously applied themselves to the quest   16
for excellence, and time and again, they have risen to the occasion,     17
maintaining their morale, composure, and good sportsmanship. Clearly,    18
their enthusiastic involvement in competitive cheerleading has enabled   19
them to learn much about dedication,  20
self-discipline, and leadership, and in the process, their exceptional   21
prowess has made their families, friends, and coaches very proud; and    22
     WHEREAS, The members of the Liberty Center High School  23
cheerleading team have consistently demonstrated the talent,  24
confidence, and motivation that are the hallmarks of true champions,     25
and they have earned the respect of even their most determined rivals.   26
The maturity and experience which the students have gained through       27

their participation in this sport will undoubtedly assist them in  28
meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it  29
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General       30
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Liberty  31
Center High School cheerleading team for exemplary achievement and  32
salute the members as some of Ohio’s finest young citizens; and be it        33
further  34
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly  35
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Liberty Center High  36
School cheerleading team.  37
