1.2relating to workforce development; appropriating money for a grant to the city of
1.3Brooklyn Park.
1.4    BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5Section 1. APPROPRIATION; CITY OF BROOKLYN PARK.
1.6$1,000,000 in fiscal year 2027 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to
1.7    the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of
1.8    Brooklyn Park for the Brooklyn Park Small Business Center and for the city to expand the
1.9    workforce development programming of Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center through
1.10   workforce development programs serving primarily underrepresented populations, including
1.11   such programs as Brooklynk, Career Pathways, Youth Entrepreneurship, and Community
1.12   Partnership. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until June 30, 2029.
