  A RESOLUTION
  Honoring the Beavercreek High School Air Force JROTC  1
  on winning two 2026 U.S. Air Force Open Drill  2
  Nationals championships.  3
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 136th General Assembly     4
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Beavercreek      5
High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps as the      6
overall armed and unarmed champion at the 2026 U.S. Air Force Open        7
Drill Nationals; and  8
     WHEREAS, The members of the Beavercreek High School Air Force        9
JROTC have combined precision, accuracy, endurance, and strength with     10
the highest ideals of duty to establish themselves as a truly  11
exceptional squad. With admirable dedication, the cadets have worked      12
diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in their events, and     13
as a result, they won first place overall in the armed and unarmed        14
divisions of this year’s U.S. Air Force Open Drill Nationals; and  15
     WHEREAS, The achievements of the Beavercreek High School Air Force   16
JROTC are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on    17
the members, their families, their instructors, their school, and  18
their community. This program has, indeed, helped the cadets gain an      19
understanding of leadership and integrity that will aid them in  20
meeting their future challenges; and  21
     WHEREAS, The members of the Beavercreek High School Air Force        22
JROTC are to be commended for their fitness and competitive drive,        23
qualities that have figured prominently in their impressive  24
performances. To their credit, the cadets could always be counted on      25
to demonstrate agility, precision, and exuberance in all of their  26
endeavors; therefore be it  27

As Adopted by the Senate
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 136th General     28
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Beavercreek     29
High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps on its       30
record of attainment and count its members among the ranks of stalwart     31
Ohioans; and be it further  32
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly  33
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Beavercreek High School       34
Air Force Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps.  35
